Welcome to Squamish

The ideal location

Squamish sits in the middle: a 40-minute drive north to the world-class ski resort Whistler Blackcomb and a 45-minute drive south to Vancouver. And Venture is located right in the centre of Squamish, at 1111 Pioneer, just off Queens Way. Venture residents are 10 minutes by bike to any shopping area: downtown, business park, rec centre, Garibaldi Village, and two minutes by car to the highway.

Nature and recreation

Squamish is known as the “Outdoor Recreation Capital of Canada” for good reason.

You name it, we have it in world-class spades: mountain biking, rock climbing and hiking, as well as snowmobiling and back-country skiing in winter, and wind and kite surfing in summer. It doesn’t stop there. Kayak, paddleboard, sail or motor on the Pacific Ocean. Fish on one of the abundant productive rivers right in town. Golf at the the Squamish Valley Golf and Country Club. Swim in one of the many small lakes in the area or at Brennan Park Recreation Centre. Play soccer, hockey and/or baseball in amateur leagues for children and adults alike. We could continue, but if you’ve heard of Squamish, you already know there’s something athletic for everyone here.
